Today was a no food day. We got breakfast and coffee that’s it. Im hungry. But we worked at Mrs. Russells house again today. It started out we were all grumpy so we had a motivational break and the rest of the time we worked hard and sang! It made us forget about our hunger and tiredness. Then we had our lunch break well water break. Mrs. Russell wanted to fix us something so bad! She’s such a sweet lady. But we told her not to fix anything we were there to help her not to get help. After it was all said and done and the work was finished we huddled around her. Me, Becca, and Tyler got the opportunity to pray for her and it was so uplifting to see how happy it made her! I felt blessed just getting to know her!

This week was amazing! I’ve learned so much. The main thing I got out of this week is its not what you get out of an experience, its what you give. See we can get so much out of this like learn to appreciate things and really understand and be more compassionate about the homeless. That’s great and all except we don’t need God for that! We could be locked in a closet and get all that. We would be just like the Pharisees in Luke 11: 37-54! We must give! And we can only do that with God. So last night we were given cake and it was amazing! We were on this sugar high! And it was kinda like what the Glue Boys get when they breath in glue. They feel good they forget they were homeless, and that they are cold. I wish we could send them all the cake in the world so their consequence for feeling good wouldn’t be death.
