Becca’s Wednesday & Final Blog from RUINED Homeless Work Camp
Well, today was another good day. It was hot and sunny, so we worked pretty much all day till 2:30. Bill changed leaders today so he made me in charge of all the girls this morning. I was kinda nervous though. He told everyone that we couldn’t eat all day till after alive , but we ended up pigging out at Ryans!! It was so good!! Im really lookin forward to alive tonight. Its gonna be awesome.
Altogether, I learned that when God gives you an opportunity to do something whether its being a leader or just helping others, we should take it without hesitating or waiting. We need to go after. It may be hard but in the end something a lot better will turn out!! I also realized that other people have a lot more and greater needs than I do. I need to take action and do something about it, and I need to stop thinking about myself. Over all, this was a great homeless camp!!
